FORMATION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS’ CREATIVE COMPETENCE IN CLASSES ON SPEECH DEVELOPMENT

Abstract.
The article substantiates the necessity of foreign students’ creative competence formation; presents the list of skills that are part of this competence; and reveals the basic regulations of methods of teaching speaking with the use of creative techniques and tasks. An example of using a creative technique of “brainstorming” in classes on speech development in the foreign students’ groups of a basic level of proficiency in Russian as a foreign language is given.
