THE LYRIC HEROES OF A. A. BLOK AND N. S. GUMILEV AS MULTIDIRECTIONAL VECTORS

Abstract.
The article compares the heroes’ images in lyrics of A. A. Blok and N. S. Gumilev, as well as the conceptions of art developed within the framework of the schools of symbolism and acmeism. The author concludes that by the example of late creative work of A. A. Blok and N. S. Gumilev it is possible to trace the evolution of God-seeking idea, which was interesting to the authors of the turn of the centuries. It is ascertained that the hope for the transfiguration of humanity through the introduction of spirituality into the life is peculiar to the lyric hero of A. A. Blok, while the lyric “I” of N. S. Gumilev begins to create the life all over again.
