PRECEDENTIAL PROPER NAMES IN THE ITALIAN MEDIA TEXTS AS SPECIAL STYLISTIC MEANS

Abstract.
The article determines, firstly, the type of expressive means to which a precedential proper name found in the research is related; secondly, its role in the publicistic text; thirdly, the percent relation of each expressive means usage. The author substantiates the idea that the linguistic units under study have a powerful impact on the reader. The results of the study expand the knowledge of the ways of media texts influence on consciousness, as well as of the national identity of the Italian press.
