Abstract.
The article discusses the literary activity of Sirazhudin Magomedovich Khaibullaev, who made a substantial contribution to the development of the Dagestan literary criticism. Special attention is paid to the questions connected with the Dagestan literature, its history and modernity. When analyzing the figurative system of the Avarian poetry the researcher reveals the essential role of poetic genres and thematic originality of works, the originality and uniqueness of lyric works in the process of the origin, formation and development the Avarian literature.
