LEXICAL EXPLICATION OF THE CONCEPT «BERUF» IN TEXTS OF THE GERMAN PRINT MEDIA

Abstract.
This article is devoted to the study of the concept «Beruf» within the framework of cognitive linguistics on the basis of textual interpretations through the analysis of lexical representatives of the investigated concept in the contemporary German print media. The study of the contexts of representatives’ functioning helped to identify some national-specific conceptual features, communicatively relevant for the German linguistic culture. The analysis of the frequency of objectification of these features led to the conclusion about the priority components of the concept «Beruf», constituting the respective values of the German society.
