Abstract.
The article deals with the traditions of “village prose” in the Russian literature of Yakutia by the example of A. Gogoleva’s creative work. It highlights the key issues of short stories, mythical and poetical space when the reader should see the hidden level of the work, its archetypical layer, and symbolic or intertextual beginnings.
