THE ARTISTIC WORLD OF GYULBIKA OMAROVA’S POETRY

Abstract. This article analyzes the lyrics of the well-known Tabasaran poet Gyulbika Omarova, in whose poetry the harmony of thoughts and feelings is developed, and the harmony of images, sound and rhythm is present; the paper also discusses the themes, artistic peculiarities, and genre diversity of her works. Gyulbika Omarova’s poetry is characterized by deep penetration into the world of human emotions, saturation with concern about the fate of people, of all living things on earth. The main motives of her poems are love and human labour, concern for tomorrow, and for the future of the younger generation.
