Abstract. The article provides a stylistic analysis of the works of the Khanty writer E. Aipin by the material of the book “The River-in-January”. The analysis describes syntactic constructions different in their structure and stylistic meaning in the text. In the stories there is a frequent use of rhetorical questions, parcelled constructions, omission points, introductory words, sentences with a dash. The considered syntactic constructions give the book a publicistic character, and the system of images, as well as the dialogues and monologues of the book characters acquire a conversational style.
