Abstract.
This article analyzes the stories of the Khakass writer Mitkhas Turan with the purpose to identify and describe the specificity of the national image of the world. The paper reveals the composition of the artistic components in the stories “Mountain Spirits’ Daughter”, “Poplars”, “Goat’s Feet”, representing the Khakass national image of the world. The main elements of the national image of the world, as Mitkhas Turan’s stories show, lie in mythopoetics and artistic images and motives used by the writer.
