Abstract.
The article deals with the interpretation of love and death in the stories written by G. N. Kuznetsova “The First Lover”, “The East Prince”, “Zygmus”, “Morning”, “Bakhchisarai”, “Golden Horn”, “The Kiss of Date”. The paper reveals numerous manifestations of the feeling of love: teenage love, love of mature people, love-sickness. The author analyzes the development of the characters’ feeling of love in its contact with death, which leads to the conclusion about the ontological problematics of the writer’s flash fiction.
