Abstract. The article describes the Kuyadinskii speech of the Andalyal’’skii dialect of the Avar language (Dagestan Language). The authors consider some of the phonetic, morphological, word-formative and lexical differences of this speech from the literary Avar language. The study enables the authors to distinguish between the concepts “transitional” and “mixed” speech and refer the Kuyadinskii speech to the category of transitional ones. The article also analyzes the main differences between the studied speech and the literary Avar language at all levels of language.
