Abstract.
The article compares the translations of the films “The Dawns Here Are Quiet” of 1972 and 2015 in terms of translation harmony. The authors reveal stipulated by the film discourse peculiarities levels of harmony achievement in the transposition of film meanings into the space of the English linguistic culture. The diagrams represent differences in film translation strategies related to the discursive characteristics of the original films.
