Abstract.
The article examines comparative constructions with an indicator хьиз (“how”) which are used in the Lezghin everyday speech to characterize a human being. The author reveals the meanings of the mentioned comparative constructions, and identifies the peculiarities of the comparative particle хьиз usage in the Lezghin language. The paper also provides a detailed component analysis of comparative constructions with the particle хьиз.
