THE IMAGES OF THE BASHKIR CULTURE FIGURES IN WORKS OF THE RUSSIAN WRITERS OF THE XX - THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY

Abstract.
The article analyses the literary representation of famous personalities’ images of the Bashkir region in the works of the Russian and Russian-speaking writers. Special attention is paid to the disclosure of the literary portraits of the Bashkir writers, singers and composers in modern poetry and journalism, and identifying techniques and principles for restoring the life of artist Kasim Devletkildeev in the story by S. R. Churaeva. A special role of symbols, folk traditions and customs in displaying a foreign character is highlighted.
