Abstract.
The article analyzes the use of grotesque experiment in the narrative novelistic space of the modern writer Mikhail Veller. The author examines the interrelations of fantastic and laughter worlds, their esthetic potentials when transforming reality within the literary text. The paper shows how grotesque experiment in M. Veller’s prose becomes the means to affirm the certain moral postulates and to discover key existential contradictions.
