Abstract.
The article considers moral issues of the novel “Peers” of the well-known Dargin writer R. Bagomedov. The important role of the social component in the lives of the characters during the years of the Great Patriotic War is shown. The characteristic features of the individual style of the writer are highlighted: the setting of urgent problems of modernity, the appeal to the norms of national ethics, folklorism.
