Abstract.
The article analyzes semantic and pragmatic effects occurring when explicating statement modus components which are considered here as specific subject-predicative structures including thematic element (i.e. reference to “Me” and certain presuppositions) and rhematic element: deictic, causative components, components of speech, targeting, condition and negation. The paper shows the inevitability of informational asymmetry between the explicit and implicit forms to transfer content.
