“PARENT LANGUAGE” AND “LANGUAGE OF ART” CONCEPTION IN IVAN ZHDANOV’S CREATIVE WORK

Abstract.
The article examines “parent language” and “language of art” conception formulated by Ivan Zhdanov in his prosaic texts. Having analyzed poet’s declarative essays the paper concludes on author’s axiology and clarifies Zhdanov’s conceptions of “parent language” phenomenon which determines the mechanisms and principles of “language of art” functioning. The special attention is paid to the problem of inclusion into the “parent language” not only the elements of archaic poetics but also the artistic devices and current principles of poetical text arrangement.
