PERSONALITY OF A GREAT FEELING IN A. I. KUPRIN’S WORK “THE GARNET BRACELET”

Abstract.
The article considers the novel “The Garnet Bracelet” by A. I. Kuprin. The determining idea is the thought that the basis of the work is purification and regeneration of a personality through love. The subject, the images system, the function of the nature in the story are highlighted. Sufficient attention is paid to the psychological aspect, A. I. Kuprin’s skills to show the human ability to open the sublime connection between human hearts and keep it forever. The conclusion is that A. Kuprin is interested in the deep humanity of the feelings experienced by characters, a subtle psychologism in revealing the characters and the sincere tone of the narrative are marked.
