Abstract.
The article examines the features of the poetic structure in the lyric-epic work by K. B. Mechiev “Buzzhigit”. The author of the article comes to the conclusion that in this poem of the Balkar classic the well-known ancient Turkic plot undergoes national adaptation in accordance with the established poetic traditions and mental concepts. It is stated that in the work “Buzzhigit” K. B. Mechiev’s wish to use artistic traditions of the native folklore, actualize his ethnic world is clearly marked.
