INTERJECTIONS AS SUBSTITUTES OF SENTENCES IN THE KABARDINO-CIRCASSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract.
In the Kabardian language phrases are often found where interjections appear as sentences-words and replace the meaning of a whole utterance. This situation poses a number of problems concerning the analysis of interjections: from the theoretical point of view, the need to determine the essence and linguistic status of the words of this group; in practical terms - the study of various functions of interjections in oral and written speech. In this article another noteworthy feature of interjection words is revealed; it is the replacement of sentences, i.e. substitution, as well as the implementation of syntactic constructions by interjections (preposition and postposition). In speech they basically act as separate units, syntactically independent of the main sentence, however, the authors try to analyze the semantic significance of interjections and their close connection with the semantics of the subsequent or previous text.
