Abstract.
In this article the author considers one of the main ethophysiological targets of speech manipulation “safety” in the aspect “immigration problem”. Our task is to analyze the pre-election campaign speeches by Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in order to identify lexical means that actualize this given ethophysiological target. The analysis of the agitation speeches of politicians reveals a wide range of lexical means used for the purpose of verbal manipulation.
