THE STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF THE POLYSEMANTIC VERB “МУНУЛЪIА” IN THE AKHVAKH LANGUAGE

Abstract.
In the article by the material of the nonliterate Akhvakh language relating to the Avar-Andic-Tsezic group of the Nakho-Dagestanian languages the functional-semantic analysis of the core verb of motion in the Akhvakh language “мунулъIа” is conducted. The functional equivalence and the possibility to replace in the context any lexeme from its semantic class characterize this verb as a super-lexeme. The author reveals about two tens of meanings of this verb. The verb dominates among all the verbs of the lexico-semantic group of motion according to the frequency of use in a context and to the semantic structure.
