Abstract.
The article is devoted to the consideration of the ways of translating multicomponent construction terms from English into Russian, which depend on the need to take into account several aspects: the structure of the term and the content of the term. As a result, it is noted that in order to achieve an adequate translation of a multicomponent term a combination of grammatical and lexical transformations is used enabling to take into consideration the typological differences of two languages, the norms of the translation language and to convey the content of the terminological phrase.
