RUSSIAN FIXED SIMILES WITH THE MODEL “CHILD” (LINGUOCULTUROLOGICAL ASPECT)

Abstract.
The article deals with the Russian fixed similes with the model “child” in comparison with the Chinese language. Similarities and differences in the set of bases of simile in two languages and the causes of these linguistic phenomena are revealed. The conclusions that similarities are conditioned by universal personality characteristics, children’s behaviour, their social status, and differences - by the peculiarities of the national mentality, the standards of behaviour accepted in culture are drawn. The cases of omission of the basis of simile of the Russian units and the expansion of the model of simile are noted and explained.
