Abstract.
The article deals with the historical and cultural conditions for the formation of genres in the literature of the Karachay-Balkar diaspora and with their paradigm. Particular attention is paid to the interrelation between the problems and the poetics of the literary works created at the end of the 20th century. The author also analyzes the problems of diaspora poetry, which represented the life of the Muhajirs far off their historical homeland, as well as the role and significance of the modern Karachay-Balkar literature for its development.
