Abstract.
Socio-political newspaper “Fabula” serves as the research material: the author examines the typological characteristics of the edition according to the following criteria: socio-political orientation, target audience, the range of problems and themes, rubrication and thematic strata, the nature of information, and its interpretation. Special attention is paid to the typological peculiarities of the newspaper against the background of socio-political life in the Republic. The edition, having its own distinctive features at the informational market, combines the features of both qualitative and mass press to attract the audience.
