THE ROLE OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNIT COMPONENTS IN REALIZATION OF ANTONYMIC RELATIONS

Abstract. Idiom components perform certain structural-semantic functions. Some of them contribute to establishing antonymic relations of stable units. The problem of essence of phraseological antonym component structure is of interest in the light of the process of free word-combination phraseologization and considering the fact that many of them contain components which can develop antonymic relations transferring contrast, contradictive nature, multi-directionality of actions, etc.
