Abstract.
The article deals with such concepts as scientific style, semantic perspective, and semantic cases. The syntactic and cognitive analysis of the constructions of this style has been carried out. As a result of the analysis the semantic and syntactic peculiarities of the scientific style have been singled out. The authors substantiate the proposition that the syntactic peculiarity of construction and economic texts is in the use of passive constructions, from the semantic perspective these structures interpret the event with a semantic predicate as a process.
