Abstract.
The article is devoted to the structure, genre features and peripeteias of the plot of the novel by the Bashkir writer R. Fakhretdinov “Asma, or Offense and Punishment”, based on adventurous time and space scaling. The characteristic of the main artistic images of the work is given; the development of the conflict between them is traced. The paper determines the reasons of a choice of a particular spectrum of characters whose function is, first of all, to be a translator of author’s philosophical ideas. Some moments of comparativistics are revealed, for example, comparison with similar plots from the Western European literature.
