Abstract.
The article is devoted to analyzing the translation of equivalent phraseological units from English into German and Russian. As the source of empirical material the author uses parallel text corpuses which provide an access to a wide basis of real examples of word usage. Having analyzed empirical material the researcher concludes that the problem of translating equivalent phraseological units is solved in many different ways.
