Abstract. The article discusses the problems of translation of pseudointernational words in technical texts. The paper presents the classification of pseudointernational words, and also provides typical errors that students make when translating this kind of vocabulary. In order to avoid mistakes the authors substantiate the creation of a special translation dictionary of pseudointernational words in the language pair English - Russian language.
