WELL WISH GENRE IN THE TATAR FOLKLORE

Abstract.
The article examines a genre of Tatar oral folklore - alkysh (well wishes). The author introduces into the scientific use well wishes as a genre of Tatar folklore. The paper identifies genre specificity, discovers genre peculiarities of well wishes, the basic motives and forms of their functioning, establishes the role and place of this genre in the system of traditional Tatar culture. Alkysh genre is a source to study moral values of the nation, its national etiquette.
