Abstract.
The paper is devoted to studying the features of the interpretation of the ship mythologeme in the Russian literature of the Silver Age. The conclusion is made that this mythologeme is through-going for the literature of this period and is represented in the works of the writers of different aesthetic views: symbolists, acmeists, realists. In the works by A. Bely, O. E. Mandelstam, N. S. Gumilev, I. A. Bunin, created in pre-revolutionary times, ship is associated with ancient myths about the journey both in the literal and figurative senses, accompanied more often by motives of the Apocalypse, not salvation.
