Abstract.
The development of the culture of speech of secondary school students in the conditions of dialect is considered as a problem of the methodology of teaching the Buryat language. The importance of the development of the literary speech of students living in various regions of Buryatia, where there are dialectal features, is substantiated. The ways of improving the culture of speech of the Buryat schoolchildren in their native language are outlined.
