Abstract. The article introduces the notion of the Domain-oriented English Lingua Franca (DOELF), which serves as a tool for internationallization of the Russian university community. The author presents the analysis of an implicit component of the general segment of the linguocultural competence in DOELF on the basis of 100 students’ interviews. Non-standard morphosyntactic forms are considered as implicit culture-specific factors of DOELF internalization in the process of students’ secondary socialization.
