EVALUATION OF THE HARMONY OF TRANSLATION OF R. DAVLYETYAROV’S FILM “THE DAWNS HERE ARE QUIET” INTO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract.
The article deals with the process of translating the film “The Dawns Here Are Quiet” (2015) from the point of view of the harmonic translation theory. The assessment of the quality and harmony of the translation is based on the principles of harmony by L. V. Kushnina. The levels of adequacy, equivalence, change, difference are revealed, moving from difference to identity and from identity to difference, as well as the level of disharmony. During the analysis, the percentage of a translation text for each level is calculated, and the percentage of a nonharmonic text is determined. The results of the analysis are presented in the diagram.
