COORDINATIVE CHAIN AS A SYNTACTIC CONTEXT OF ABSOLUTIVE USE OF THE TRANSITIVE VERB

Abstract.
The paper argues that a coordinative chain can come out as a syntactic context promoting absolutive use of a transitive verb. By analyzing speech facts the author shows the specificity of such constructions in their correlation with similar phenomena: elliptical constructions and constructions in which absolutive perception of transitive verbs is casual. Moreover, the author identifies that in a non-extended coordinative chain transitive verbs are used among others.
