Abstract.
The article analyzes in the diachronic aspect the quality of lexicographical representation of German and Russian economic terms in German-Russian economic dictionaries. The study aims to evaluate equivalence and adequacy of German-Russian equivalents considering their relevant terminological usage and lexicographical fixation. Relevance of the study involves the possibility to use the results of the dictionary entry analysis in translation practice. For the first time the authors identify the peculiarities of correlation between the statics of lexicographical fixation of a term and the dynamics of its speech usage.
