RUSSIAN COSMISM EVOLUTION IN THE DOMESTIC POETRY OF THE XVIII-XX CENTURIES

Abstract.
The article reveals the understanding of the main ideas of the Russian cosmism through the lenses of poetic creativity. The author analyzes poems by G. R. Derzhavin, A. S. Pushkin, M. Yu. Lermontov, F. I. Tyutchev, K. D. Balmont and rhythms by E. D. Luchezarnova to identify those national features of the Russian poetry, which allow us to speak about its cosmic character. It is concluded that the very nature of the Russian language makes it possible to comprehend the world in metaphysical categories, regardless of what movement the poet ranks himself/herself with, reflecting on the universe. The author points to the paradoxical nature of the artistic method of the Russian poetry that allows uniting mutually exclusive notions and images.
