TATAR WOMAN’S POETRY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY IN TRANSLATIONS INTO THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract.
The article deals with the peculiarities of translating the poems of the modern Tatar poetesses (Yu. Minnullina, L. Yansuar, L. Valieva) into the Russian language. The author focuses on the translations made by the modern Russian poets and included in the bilingual “Anthology of New Tatar Poetry”. Different approaches to the translated material, which the Russian poets demonstrated, are revealed. It is proved that the analyzed translations make it possible to convey the poetic style of the Tatar authors’ poems to the Russian-speaking readers, but transformational changes have been made: most translators quite often use lexical transformations.
