Abstract. The article reveals the notion “nominative unit” in relation to the linguistic means of a linguocultural scenario. The purpose of the study is to describe and analyse the nominative units of the linguistic means of the English linguocultural scenario of advertising activity. Particular attention is paid to the structure of words and word combinations. The predominance of formally separate nominative units among the linguistic means of the analysed scenario is noted. The authors conclude that word combinations of varying degrees of stability act as nominative units more often than individual words.
