Abstract. The article deals with the lexical-grammatical and semantic factors that determine the cohesion degree of the components of a noun phrase with two prepositive adjectives in the modern French language. The authors define the direct contact position of the adjective before the noun as the main factor of the components cohesion and note the role of the frame construction as a formal sign of the closer syntactic relation of adjectives in a multi-component noun phrase “adjective + adjective + noun” (A2A1N).
