EROTOLOGY, THANATOLOGY AND METAPHYSICS OF ABSURDITY IN Y. V. MAMLEEV’S POETRY

Abstract.
The article examines Y. V. Mamleev’s collection of poetry “The True Story of the Unseen”. Being a prophecy of global transformation of the universe, the analysed poetical texts are penetrated with a feeling of deeper unity of all the elements of existence with the Absolute, the Truth. In the atmosphere of chaos, absurdity and apocalyptic character representing the inverse, dark side of a subject and the surrounding world, the poet actualizes the eschatological aspect typical of the Russian classical literature and associated with belief into salutary transcendental forces inherent in the Russian consciousness and spirit.
