Specificity of Situational Interpretation of Concessive Statement with Concessive quand meme in the Modern French Language

Abstract.
The article examines the process of broadening the pragmatic meaning of the concessive quand meme in the modern French language. The interpretational analysis of the concessive syntactic construction grammatical structure is carried out taking into account dynamics of the interlocutor’s speech thinking. Relying on the analysis of linguistic material, which includes sentences with the concessive quand meme, the authors identify and describe changes in its pragmatic meaning in the context of a communicative situation, which serves as a basis for interpretation of concessive relations.
