Abstract.
The research objective is as follows: to identify the nominative field of the concept ХОРЗ/GOOD in the Ossetian language. The study is based on an analysis of lexicographical sources and the Ossetian-language texts. Scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that the authors for the first time examine the nominative field of the concept ХОРЗ, a basic element of a language conceptual sphere. The paper uses corpus linguistics methods; the research material includes the Ossetian-language texts of different genres, which makes it possible to provide a comprehensive description of the lexeme ‘хорз’, to reveal its semantic meanings. As a result, the nuclear, pre-nuclear and peripheral zones of the ХОРЗ concept are identified.
