Abstract.
The aim of the study is to describe the manifestations of speech aggression as strategic communication aimed at gaining superiority over the opponent. The article identifies standard scenarios of aggressive verbal behaviour and simulates response options to them in order to neutralize the aggressor’s tactics. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time an attempt is made to classify the means of aggressive communicative behaviour not from the point of view of its expression - forms or genres - but from the point of view of the content plan, that is, aggressive meanings. As a result, the authors define the scenario of speech aggression and demonstrate that this notion opens up the possibility of studying speech aggression in terms of the strategic interaction of opponents and effectively developing counter-aggression scenarios.
