Creative collaboration of Yunus Kandym and Mykola Miroshnychenko in the context of interethnic cultural relations

Abstract.
The study aims to characterize the creative collaboration of the Crimean Tatar poet Yunus Kandym and his Ukrainian colleague Mykola Miroshnychenko, which is of significant importance in the development of interethnic literary relations. The scientific novelty of the work lies in presenting in detail for the first time the stages and phenomena of this cooperation, which contribute to the strengthening of the tendencies of the national and cultural revival of the Crimean Tatars at the turn of the past and present centuries and the enhancement of interethnic cultural contacts. As a result, it has been found that the non-standard figurative associations, the versification sophistication as well as other peculiarities of the poetic works by Yu. Kandym and M. Miroshnychenko, which belong to the prerequisites for their creative cooperation, develop the long-standing traditions of both Crimean Tatar literature and Ukrainian literature, in particular, the traditions of the Baroque era. Among the significant results of the literary contacts under consideration are bilingual anthologies compiled by poets and equipped with detailed prefaces. The centuries-old development of Crimean Tatar poetry and prose is presented in these anthologies for the first time. These anthologies are of great importance in modern cultural life, in interethnic cultural dialogue. Poetic collections of Yu. Kandym, in which M. Miroshnychenko acts not only as a translator, but also as the author of prefaces, are also a notable phenomenon in the relevant context. These prefaces talk about the dramatic fate of the Crimean Tatar poet, inseparable from the fate of his people. They contribute to a deeper understanding of Yu. Kandym’s poetry. It is noted that in the poetic speech of the author, effective metaphors are combined with philosophical meditations, with wealth of intonation shades.
