Abstract.
The aim of this research is to identify the specific characteristics of the descriptive poetry of Alexei Salatkin. The author describes facts from A. Salatkin's biography that influenced his development as a poet. The article analyzes poems written by A. Salatkin in the Evenki language during the early stages of the development of newly written literature. Depictions of everyday life, descriptions of nature, and ordinary daily routines in Salatkin's poetry allow him to reveal the peculiarities of Evenki existence, based on the living connection of the ethnos with Mother Nature. The artistic picture of the world in A. Salatkin's works reflects the cyclical nature of the life cycle and the prosaic nature of Evenki life, through which the being of the ancient people, based on a harmonious worldview, is revealed. A feature of A. Salatkin's work is his non-separation of himself as the author from the hero of the poetic works and the introduction of his empirical world into them. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that it examines texts that are practically unstudied and little known to a wide range of readers, and traces the connection between the description of everyday life and the existential ideas of the Evenki people. As a result of the research, both the continuity of the folk tradition and the artistic word, the influence of the rhythm of the Evenki song-improvisation on A. Salatkin's poems, and the features of the manifestation of the author's own beginning in the works of the novice author are revealed.
