Abstract.
The book under review offers an analysis of the genre of the collective monograph dedicated to the anniversary of the famous scholar of Czech studies, Doctor of Philology, Honored Professor of the Faculty of Philology at Lomonosov Moscow State University, Chairman of the Chekhov Commission of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the History of World Culture V. B. Kataev. All articles are written by scientists from Russia, near and far abroad and reveal the main issues of the numerous works of the hero of the day himself.
